The basic pattern for 3 clubs is normally done with single rotations, usually called singles. Higher numbers are normally done with each club rotating more than once between a throw and a catch. Single rotations with more than 3 clubs is a more difficult trick. These patterns do not have to be done any lower than the basic pattern with the normal number of rotations.
