Isolation is juggling while standing on a small, stationary platform, such as a chair. This demonstrates control and accurate throws, by preventing the juggler from walking around while juggling.
Since 2007, the WJF Overall Championship has included Isolated Endurance competitions (endurance competitions with the jugglers standing on chairs) for 7 balls, 7 rings, 7 clubs, and 5 club backcrosses.
